The Municipal District of Deryneia announces that this year it has secured a License from the United Nations Peacekeeping Force for the operation of the chapel of Agia Marina located in the Dead Zone, next to the occupied beach of Deryneia.

Vespers will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. and Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 6:30 a.m.

On Wednesday, the journey to the Byzantine chapel will continue until 11:30 and will be done by private cars. Visitors are invited to comply with the instructions of the UN Peacekeeping Force to avoid any inconvenience, as well as with the markings for the smooth passage to Agia Marina.
