The Laughter Theatre celebrates ten successful years of life in the cultural scene of our country and to celebrate it is staging the new comedy by Kostas Schinios, Habibi come to Cyprus.
The performance is brought to you by Thespians Theater and Alter Ego Art House at the Municipal Amphitheater of Deryneia, August 20, 2025, 20:30 PM.
This is a new, fresh, modern comedy with very effortless laughter, without profanity, love, fights, claims, full of twists and turns, interspersed with Cypriot songs and dances. A comedy that aims to cool people off on Summer nights and make them escape for a while from the problems of everyday life.

A few words about the project:
In a quiet village in Cyprus, they live... not so quietly, the Community Leader Kyriakos
Miltis, a lively man (Kostas Schiniou), of moderate education, but very active, who does everything for the development of his village.
Mrs. Popi (Kostakis Konstantinou), of unspecified age and with memory problems that confuse everyone, has stayed in the era when Makarios lived.
Mrs. Melpo (Maria Fiaka) is a well-off, outgoing woman who is bothered by the Tsoures, Donkeys and Chickens of the Village and her dream is to
one day he will leave the Village and move to Nicosia to live the Aristocratic life, like this one
you imagine her...
Valentina, (Valentina Nikolaou) the village gossip who is present in everything and stirs up trouble
everywhere where you don't expect it.
All three women of the Village, single and different, who have a common goal... To claim the title of Community Leader!
It is summer and in the village there is a small hotel-inn, where tourists arrive every year for agrotourism. Suddenly the Community Leader
receives a phone call from Sylvia (Marvia Mavrovounioti), a hottie, sexy and provocative, who is presented as a representative of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed al Maktoum from Dubai, played by Apostolos Ioannidis. But is she really a Sheikh from Dubai? Or a Greek con artist who wants to take his vacation for free, handing out fake dollars and gold bars.
Will the women of the Village continue to claim the Community Leader as their Husband or will they fall for the Sheikh who is a millionaire and very charming?
Will the Community Leader fall into the nets of the sexy Sylvia? Will the fraud by the so-called Sheikh be revealed in the end?
All this on stage!
