Educational seminars are organized by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism on the occasion of the organization of the Christmas villages - Invitation to the staff of catering units

The two below three-hour seminars offered by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism are free of charge mandatory for the staff of food establishments within a radius of 15 km from the Christmas Village.

SEMINAR 1:
PRACTICAL EXERCISE IN "QUALITY UPGRADE OF FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE"

Addressed to: all members of the food and beverage department of the food business as well as its supervisory and managerial staff.

Learning outcomes: After the end of the program the participants:

• They will have basic knowledge of hospitality and venues, the basic equipment they will use when serving
• They will be trained in the subject of the organization of the restaurant, bar, Christmas stand
• They will be trained in the professional personal appearance and hygiene of serving staff members
• They will be equipped with the correct food and beverage serving techniques and procedures
• They will improve their verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

SEMINAR 2:
PRACTICAL EXERCISE IN "GOOD SANITARY RESTAURANT PRACTICE"

Intended for: all food handlers, storekeepers, waiters, managerial and supervisory staff in the food and beverage department.

Learning outcomes: After the end of the program the participants:

• They will have the necessary training in the subject of Food Hygiene.
• They will know how to protect the produced food, the guests and themselves from a possible food poisoning.
• Familiarize themselves with the requirements of the regulations of the law "Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 29 April 2004 on Food Hygiene".
