In a statement, the local authority states that "we often receive complaints about the theft of objects, equipment or flowers from the graves of the dead in the Cemeteries of the Deryneia Municipal District".
The Municipal Department invites the public, when they detect such incidents of theft, to report them to avoid inconvenience. A police patrol will monitor the areas at any time of the day to avoid such incidents
