Preparations are feverish for the 13th Cypriot Strawberry Festival which will take place on Friday 24/05 at Deryneia Renaissance Stadium.
At the Strawberry Festival there will be a Pastry Competition with Chrysos Lefou, theatre, live music, Cypriot traditional music and a big concert with folk and rebetika songs by Yiannis Dionysiou and Aspasia Stratigou.
The strawberry greenhouse, free strawberries and liqueur from the Strawberry Growers of Deryneia could not be missed.
Young children will have the opportunity to engage in children's activities such as children's theater, pottery, painting, construction and crafts.
Deputy Minister of Tourism Kostas Koumis will be present on behalf of the government.
