Over time, he managed to preserve the faith and tradition of Orthodoxy, promoting the ethos and values of Christianity and contributing greatly to the strengthening of the spiritual culture of the faithful, but also to their substantial support to the various difficulties they have faced over the centuries.
At the same time, the Church of Agios Antonios in Deryneia has played a significant role and is a symbol of female monasticism in our country. According to written reports, both the Holy Monastery of Agios Georgios of Alamanos As well as the Holy Monastery of Agia Theklis in Sotira were founded by the nuns of the Holy Temple of Agios Antonios Deryneia, who with respect and deep religiosity undertook the difficult task of developing the two Holy Temples in religious and spiritual centers.
