The Municipality of Deryneia was awarded for the second consecutive year as "Green City of Cyprus" for the project "Replacement of energy-consuming street lighting lamps with LED lamps" in the category "Sustainable Energy Consumption" for the year 2023.
According to the Mayor of Deryneia, Andros Karagiannis, the percentage of reduction in consumption amounts to 68% and the corresponding percentage of cost savings to 62%.
