The Municipality of Deryneia will hold this year the 5th Folklore Festival "The Tziverti of Deryneia", on Friday, June 3, 2022 in the Museum and in the central square of the church of Panagia of the Municipality.
The purpose of the Festival is to introduce Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot youth, local and foreign tourists, to the student youth of the area.
The Festival will also be attended by foreign delegations from about 20 member states of the European Union through the WIVAS and MAGICS Programs, which will be hosted by the Municipality of Deryneia.
From 9 a.m. On the premises of the Museums, there will be experiential workshops for the preparation of bread, buns, spaghetti, halloumi, anari, strawberry jam, liqueur and ice cream. Visitors will also be able to attend classes in basket weaving, chair making and other crafts.
In the evening there will be an artistic program by Dance Bands.
The entrance is free.
