A beautiful Poetic Evening "An Evening with a Full Moon" was held at the Deryneia Folklore Museum on Wednesday, September 18, 2024.
Folk poets from the four municipal departments of the Municipality participated in the event organized by Mr. Viktoras Karagiannis with music and songs by Kostas Katziis.
The event was attended by the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia Mr. Giorgos Nikolettos, the Deputy Mayors of Deryneia, Frenarous and Aheritou as well as members of the municipal council.
They participated: Athanasia Yasoumi from Aheritou, Kosmas G. Oikonomou from Frenaros, Sotiroula Tziabouri from Paralimni, Lenia Takousii, Georgios Giorkallos and Victor Karagiannis from Deryneia.
Poems by Eva Georgiou from Deryneia were recited by Fotini Katsantoni, while 13-year-old Andreas Mama from Deryneia participated with violin and tsiatistas.
The event was presented by Maro Aristotelous.
