The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia invites the public to the presentation of the book "I Speak to You" by Matthew Frantzekakis, which will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 19:00 PM, at the Cultural Center of the Municipality of Famagusta in Deryneia.
The book is an important record of testimonies of people who experienced the Turkish invasion of 1974 and the refugee crisis, highlighting the power of human memory, oral history and the preservation of historical truth.
The event is part of the actions to preserve historical memory and is an opportunity for the public to get to know the work and its creator up close, through a substantive discussion about the experiences, narratives and cultural heritage of Cyprus.
