The occupied area of Kato Deryneia had the opportunity to visit today the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. Giorgos Nikolettos.
The Mayor was accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Deryneia Mr. Nikos Lillis and by members of the Committee "Enslaved Kato Deryneia" and refugees from Kato Deryneia who informed the Mayor about the history of their occupied parish which is fenced off behind a barbed wire fence on the road that connects the roadblock of Deryneia with the occupied city of Famagusta.
After the visit, the refugees of Kato Deryneia placed flowers on the wire fence that surrounds their occupied houses.
