The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia announces that it has secured permission from the United Nations Peacekeeping Force again this year for the operation of the chapel of Agia Marina, which is located within the Dead Zone, next to the occupied beach of Deryneia.
On Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. Vespers will be celebrated. On Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 6:30 a.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated and the pilgrimage will continue until 11:30 a.m.
The passage to the Byzantine chapel will be done by private cars and visitors are required to comply with the instructions of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force to avoid any inconvenience, as well as with the signs for the smooth route to Agia Marina.
