The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia welcomes the participation of ETAP Famagusta in the DEEP CONNECTIONS project, which is implemented within the framework of the Interreg VI-A Greece - Cyprus Cooperation Program and aims to develop and promote diving tourism in the Famagusta District and Heraklion, Crete.
The project combines technology, education and promotional activities, aiming to promote the two regions as modern and competitive diving tourism destinations. It also includes the upgrading of diving sites, the strengthening of tourist infrastructure and international promotion activities.
The Famagusta District has significant advantages, such as its impressive diving spots, its 35 Blue Flag beaches and its clear waters, elements that contribute to the further development of a quality and sustainable tourism product.
The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, in collaboration with the Municipality of Ayia Napa and the competent bodies, supports initiatives that enhance extroversion, innovation and sustainable tourism development of the region.
