DISY's expression of interest in taking a parliamentary seat appears to be in full swing. The scene has also begun to take shape in the Free Province of Famagusta.
According to information, former referee and current businessman Dimitris Koumis is expected to be a candidate for the Famagusta District with DISY.
The 35-year-old former referee, who announced his retirement from the field last year, is ready to enter the political arena and run for a seat in the parliamentary elections for the first time.
Dimitris Koumis, originally from Sotira and with a rich resume in volunteerism, is one of the individuals considered by DISY and the Famagusta District to be able to claim a seat in Parliament.
According to the same information, the formalization of the cooperation between the two sides is expected soon.
It is noted that in the free province of Famagusta, the candidates will be the current MPs Giorgos Karoulas and Nikos Georgiou.
