A written announcement of the Municipality of Deryneia states that "this year, Kathara Monday, March 11th, will be celebrated in the Church of Agia Marina in the dead zone by nine in the morning until five in the afternoon, after approval of a request to the United Nations ".
The Municipality invites "all participants in the celebrations to comply with the instructions of the United Nations and to be limited to the area around the Church. The area will be allowed to travel by private car to the point determined by the United Nations ".
