The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia in a statement expresses its deepest sorrow for the fatal road accident which resulted in the untimely death of three young citizens.
In its extraordinary meeting today, Sunday, November 17, 2024, the Municipal Council of Paralimni - Deryneia decided the following:
1. The declaration of three days of mourning, which begins today, Sunday, November 17, 2024. All scheduled events of the Municipality are postponed.
2. The flags of all municipal buildings and all municipal apartments will fly at half-mast during the three-day mourning period.
3. The funerals of the victims of the traffic accident will be held at noon on Tuesday 19/11/2024 at the expense of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia.
The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the victims.
