In the context of Dementia Awareness Month, the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, in collaboration with the Audiology Center "Euvikoiia", the Alzheimer's and Related Dementia Association "Don't Forget Me", the Kaimakli Shelter "Archangel Michael" (AMEN) and the 3aHealth Company, is organizing an information and prevention campaign focusing on memory and hearing health.
The action will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Cultural and Spiritual Center of the Holy Metropolis of Constantia and Famagusta, in Paralimni, where free memory tests and hearing screenings will be offered.
This specific initiative seeks to inform the public and strengthen prevention, as early assessment of cognitive function and hearing can contribute to a better understanding of factors that affect daily functionality, communication and quality of life.
