Two restaurants in the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia were declared winners in two separate categories at the Cyprus Eating Awards 2025 organized by @checkincyprus of the Zeus Group at the Four Seasons Hotel in Limassol on the evening of Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
The award for best tavern was won by Kamasias Tavern in Paralimni, while the award for best Grill Bar / Pub was won by Knights Pub Restaurant in the Pernera area of Protaras.
These are two restaurants that were created and operate with great success by residents of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, while they are the only ones to have been awarded by the Famagusta district.
The Mayor of Paralimni-Dheryne attended the awards and congratulated the two winners for their great success.
In his statements, he stated that "This specific award is a practical recognition of the quality, consistency and professionalism that characterize the gastronomic identity of the Municipality, underlining that local gastronomy constitutes a key pillar of the tourist product and the overall experience offered to visitors throughout the year. We express our warm congratulations to the two award-winning restaurants and assure that we will continue to actively support local entrepreneurship and every effort that highlights the quality, authenticity and dynamics of the region."
