Two names from Famagusta for the Ministry!

Preparations are underway in the Presidential Palace with feverish procedures in view of the establishment of the new Council of Ministers.

So far, many names have been written and passed by the President in anticipation of the anointing by President Anastasiadis with the responsibility of a portfolio.

An important development is the revelation last night on Sigma TV that two names from the province of Famagusta "play" for one of the portfolios.

The first case concerns the DISY Famagusta MP Kyriako Hatzigianni for which, according to information, last night an event was organized in support of his ministry by the Panagrotikos Association.

The second concerns the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Giannis Karousos whose name was heard among others for the Ministry of Tourism.

As for Kyriakos Hatzigiannis, it remains to be decided whether Nikos Kougialis leaves permanently or whether he will remain in his position, or whether in the end Pindarou is positive with the possibility that Nikos Sampson will get a parliamentary seat as the first runner-up.

As for the Mayor of Ayia Napa, after contacting Famagusta.News, he stated that he neither confirms nor denies what was heard, and that it is a constitutional right of the President of the Republic to decide on the names that will make up the new Council of Ministers.
