The Cyprus Youth Organization in collaboration with the Department of Labour, are organizing a series of presentations at the Cyprus Youth Organization Polycentres with the aim of informing young people aged 15-29 who are out of work, education and training, about the specially designed program to prevent unemployment and provide services counseling and professional guidance offered by the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance.
The Project "Provision of Employment Consultants Business Unit Services for the Provision of Specialized and Personalized Employment Services to NEETs aged 15-29 (Not in Employment, Education or Training)", serves exclusively for the needs of NEETs and is implemented within the framework of the Political Cohesion Program "THALEA 2021-2027" with EU co-financing.
Through participation in the program, young people can benefit from information and guidance from experienced and specially trained Vocational and Counseling Counselors, in all the provinces of Cyprus.
Through personalized counseling meetings and the free Ariston Test, they can discover their potential, their skills, and the professions that suit each individual's personality. Furthermore, young people can individually discuss the possible difficulties of finding a job, the ways of managing these difficulties and also their prospects by building an individual plan for the next steps of their professional career.
The ultimate goal of the program is to link NEETs with the services of the Public Employment Service (PSE) of the Department of Labor through their registration on the PSE platform so that they can be served and supported for the purposes of improving their employability and finding work.
The presentations of the Project's services are planned in all the Provinces of Cyprus at the Polycentres of the Youth Organization and more specifically:
