Citizen applications regarding water supply will now be processed online by the Famagusta District Local Government Organization (FMAO).
An announcement by the Organization states that "as part of its strategy for modernization and improvement of citizen service, it has proceeded with an upgrade of its website, www.eoaa.org.cy."
Specifically, "all applications concerning water supply will be processed exclusively online. Citizens can complete the necessary personal information and submit the required supporting documents through the renewed digital platform, without the need for a physical presence at the Organization's offices."
According to the announcement, in cases "where in-person presence is required to complete the process, an online appointment scheduling system has been put into operation, which is activated after the electronic application is submitted."
It is noted that "for senior citizens who encounter difficulties in using online services, the possibility of telephone communication with the Water Supply Department of the Famagusta Water Authority is provided, exclusively for scheduling an appointment for in-person service."
With this specific upgrade, the Famagusta Public Health Authority "aims to provide faster and more efficient service to citizens, reducing waiting times and facilitating access to its services. Online services and the ability to schedule appointments will be expanded very soon to the other departments of the Organization," it is reported.
