Heavy hail and strong winds are currently observed in many areas of Famagusta Province.
The hail mainly affected the communities in the west of the province, while the strong winds are currently affecting the entire province.
According to photos posted by many internet users, in Avgorou and Liopetri, as well as in neighboring communities of Larnaca province such as Xylofagou, the hail was the size of a hazelnut.
