Major development projects amounting to 45 million euros will begin to be implemented within 2022. According to the official planning of the Government provided by the Famagusta.News, the major development projects that are starting to be implemented within this year, concern, among other things, improvements of existing infrastructure, creation of road networks, configuration of central squares as well as creation of a new Fire Station in Ayia Napa.
The biggest infrastructure project that starts to be implemented within 2022 is the improvement of the Deryneia - Sotiras road, the cost of which is expected to exceed 15 million euros, as the asbestos water pipeline will be replaced with a corresponding metal one.
More specifically, the utility projects that will start to be implemented in 2022 are worth more than 18 million euros, while Paralimni and Ayia Napa will see the start of implementation of development projects that exceed 12 million euros in 2022.
