Data on the country's vaccination coverage against covid19 was provided today by the Ministry of Health.
Vaccination coverage with at least 1 dose per age group is as follows:
In total, 31% of the adult population (1+) was vaccinated by August 78,6 with at least the first dose, and 18% of the adult population completed their vaccination regimen. 74,2% of 36,4 and 16 year olds received at least the first dose and 17% completed the vaccination. In the age group of 1-29 years, at least 12% were vaccinated with the first dose and 15% completed their vaccination regimen.
In relation to the vaccination coverage per Province, as shown in the attached map, Paphos remains first with 89,6% of its population having received at least the first dose. They are followed by the Provinces of Famagusta and Nicosia with 1% and 87,3% respectively and the Province of Limassol with 78%. In the Province of Larnaca, the vaccination coverage with at least the 77,1st dose is at 1%.
In August, 33,064 vaccinations (1st and 2nd doses) were performed in the centers of free attendance throughout Cyprus. From July 15 to July 31, a total of 43,690 vaccinations were performed in walk-ins in all cities.
