In the context of investigating a case of conspiracy to commit a felony, illegal entry, attempted robbery, demanding property with threats as well as assault with actual bodily harm, the Police proceeded to arrest two persons aged 26 and 25.
Specifically, on January 30, 2023, a female resident of the province of Famagusta reported to the Police that, on the same day, persons unknown to her had illegally entered her home and, using violence and threats, demanded that she give them money and jewelry. The complainant refused, while the perpetrators searched the house and after not finding anything left the scene in an unknown direction.
During the investigation of the case and based on the evaluation of evidence, the members of the TAE Famagusta proceeded yesterday afternoon and in the early hours of this morning, to arrest the above persons, who were taken into custody.
