A coordinated and targeted operation to crack down on illegal stay on the territory of the Republic of Cyprus, took place today in the provinces of Larnaca and Famagusta, in which members of the Foreigners and Immigration Service and the Sub-Directorate for Surveillance of the Green Line and Dealing with Migratory Flows took part.
During the operation, 17 foreigners were identified and arrested, who were residing illegally in the Republic, while the procedures for their immediate repatriation were activated.
The exams continue.
