Within the framework of the targeted efforts being made these days to prevent and reduce traffic collisions, members of the Famagusta Traffic Police, together with the District Road Safety Officer, carried out an information campaign on the roads of Ayia Napa and Paralimni.
During the action, educational material was distributed, while phosphorescent vests were offered to vulnerable road users — pedestrians, cyclists and people who move daily in conditions of reduced visibility.
The aim of the initiative was to raise awareness of the dangers that lurk, but also to encourage the adoption of simple, practical measures that can save lives. With small actions, we can all contribute to a safer road environment for everyone.
