The 24-year-old resident of Larnaca was arrested yesterday by the Police, in order to facilitate the investigations regarding an investigated case of night burglary and robbery, committed on June 16, 2021, in the province of Famagusta.
The case was reported to the Police, by a 77-year-old, according to which around 11.40 p.m. On June 16, while she was sleeping in the bedroom of her house, she woke up from a noise she heard and realized that two strangers were inside her house. The 77-year-old locked the door of her room, so that strangers would not approach her, however they broke the door and attacked her. After immobilizing her, the perpetrators allegedly stole various jewelry and jewelry and fled.
From the police examinations, regarding the case, a testimony was secured against a 24-year-old resident of Larnaca. An arrest warrant was issued against him under which he was arrested and remanded in custody.
