The Famagusta Recreation Center Owners Association expresses the full readiness of the recreation centers of the Famagusta district for the start of the Easter holidays and the upcoming summer tourist season. From mid-April, local and foreign visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the high quality of services and hospitality that the area has to offer.
After last year's landmark year for tourism, which saw record tourist arrivals, and despite recent challenges in international markets, there is optimism for a successful tourism year. The occupancy of hotel units and the increased passenger traffic at Larnaca Airport compared to last year, the interest from new markets such as Poland and the countries of
Central Europe combined with the steady presence of the British market, as well as the date of Easter celebration that coincides for Orthodox and Catholics, have created high expectations for this year's tourist season.
Additionally, the cooperation between local authorities and organized bodies, the organization and timely preparation by Municipalities for the start of the season, have contributed to the improvement of the tourism product offered with the aim of gradually alleviating the seasonality faced by the Famagusta District.
Undoubtedly, our province is the flagship of Tourism in Cyprus. The famous seaside resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras, as well as the enchanting countryside with traditional villages in the hinterland, have the unique advantage of combining natural beauty with modern amenities and authentic Cypriot hospitality and tradition.
The Famagusta Recreation Center Owners Association invites the public to visit our province, enjoy its beauties and support local businesses. The area's entrepreneurs work tirelessly to ensure that all visitors have an unforgettable experience during their stay.
