In the last 18 hours, the Police proceeded with 24 complaints from citizens and two responsible establishments, as part of the controls for the implementation of the measures against the spread of the coronavirus.
As a representative of the Police communication branch stated to KYPE, during the last 24 hours that ended at 06:00 on Wednesday, 2.417 checks were carried out throughout free Cyprus.
In Nicosia 1.205 inspections were carried out and 6 citizens were reported, in Limassol 192 inspections were carried out with 5 complaints of citizens and one property, in Larnaca 480 inspections with 2 complaints of citizens and one property, in Famagusta 5 citizens after 291 inspections, while in Morfos 64 checks without complaints.
No complaints were made in the province of Paphos.
The Traffic Departments and the Port and Maritime Police carried out 164 and 21 checks, respectively, without any complaints.
