Two boats with a total of 37 migrants off Cabo Greco were detected by the Coast Police radars early today.
The migrants, who came from Syria and are all men, were spotted by the Maritime and Coast Police radars.
Specifically, according to the information, at around 2:30 this morning, the two boats were taken to the fishing shelter of Agios Nikolaos in the Pernera area of Protaras, and after their details were recorded, they were transferred to the temporary accommodation area of Pournara in Kokkinotrymithia.
The Police are investigating how they entered the Republic as well as people who may have played a role as traffickers.
