The Coastal Police was mobilized after the discovery of a boat with migrants off the sea area of Cabo Greco, early on Monday.
The boat, on which about 60 migrants were on board, was approached by a Coastal Police vessel around 6 am.
An operation was immediately set up by the Coast Guard with the aim of disembarking them and implementing all the prescribed procedures.
The migrants will then be transferred to the "Pournara" Temporary Accommodation Center in Kokkinotrimithia.
