Strong storms and heavy rains hit the province of Famagusta last night.
Due to the bad weather, roads were flooded, specifically in the center of Protaras and in Paralimni.
According to Fire Department Spokesman Andrea Ketti, the Famagusta Fire Station provided assistance in 8 different cases.
The incidents involved 3 flooded roads, 1 vehicle tow, 2 flooded houses, 1 basement and 1 porch. 4 flood response crews worked.
The President of the Provincial Self-Governing Organization of Famagusta, Yiannis Karousos, said that the services of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia and the Provincial Self-Governing Organization of Famagusta responded last night to areas where there was a problem in Protaras and related to flooded roads.
