Famagusta Province: Prison sentences for three persons for burglaries and thefts

The District Court of Famagusta imposed prison sentences of 30 and 12 months yesterday on two persons, who were found guilty of cases of burglary and theft, while a prison sentence of two and a half years was imposed today by the District Court on a third person, who was also found guilty after adjudication of a case of burglary and theft.

The 30-month sentence was imposed on a 31-year-old man, who was found guilty of the offenses of conspiracy to commit a felony, housebreaking, theft and malicious damage. The offenses in question were committed in the province of Famagusta, between February 12 and April 27, 2022.

The 12-month prison sentence was imposed on a 29-year-old. The 29-year-old was found guilty of the offenses of conspiracy to commit a felony, housebreaking and theft, committed between March and April 2022, in the province of Famagusta.

Finally, the prison sentence of two and a half years was imposed on a 30-year-old woman, who was found guilty of the crimes of housebreaking and theft, committed between June and September, 2019, also in the province of Famagusta.

The investigation of the above cases was undertaken by the TAE of Famagusta.
