The supply of drugs to a prisoner was prevented by members of the Police, who proceeded to arrest a 24-year-old.
Specifically, around 8 p.m. yesterday, a 24-year-old resident of Larnaca, visited a Police Station in the province of Famagusta, in order to deliver food to a 25-year-old, who is in custody, in the police station's holding cells. During the control carried out on the food, two packages were found in chocolate wrappers, which contained a quantity of cannabis, weighing approximately two grams, and cocaine, weighing approximately half a gram.
Arrest warrants were issued against the 24-year-old, as well as the 25-year-old, under which they were arrested a short time later.
