A fire broke out last night in a car owned by a 48-year-old woman in the Famagusta district, with the Police and the Fire Department investigating the causes.
A statement from the Police Communications Branch states that "shortly before 11.30 pm on Wednesday, August 27, a fire broke out in a car owned by a 48-year-old woman, while it was parked in the yard of her residence in the Famagusta district."
The fire was extinguished by members of the Fire Department, while members of the Police conducted examinations in the area.
The scene was placed under guard, while the causes of the fire will be determined by examinations that will be carried out today by the Fire Department and the Police.
