The 49-year-old was arrested by the Police, in the context of the investigation of a case of illegal possession of drugs for the purpose of supply.
According to a statement from the Police, the arrest of the 49-year-old was preceded by an investigation yesterday at a specific point in the province of Famagusta, where nine grams of cocaine and 16 grams of cannabis were found.
Also, in a search of his vehicle, three grams of cocaine were found.
The 49-year-old was arrested in the early hours of today with a court order and was taken into custody, to facilitate the investigations.
