Diocese of Famagusta: The results of the votes for the Diocese of Constantia - Famagusta

The three-person panel that will be brought before the Holy Synod was drawn up on Sunday evening, after the election process for the Archbishop Elections.

The Metropolitans of Paphos, Limassol and Tamasos are brought before the Holy Synod, which will elect the next Archbishop of Cyprus.

Today, the official page of the Church of Cyprus published in detail the results of the Archbishop's Elections throughout Cyprus and by archpriestly region.

As for the Holy Metropolis of Constantia and Famagusta, the results are as follows:

  • Registered: 33.313
  • Voted: 14.511 (43,56%)
  • Abstention: 18.802 (56,44%)
  • Valid: 14.372 (99,04%)
  • Invalid: 116 (0,80%)
  • Whites: 23 (0,16%)

The votes:

  • Basilios of Constantia and Famagusta: 10.971 (76,34%)
  • Limassol Athanasios: 1.389 (9,66%)
  • Morphou Neophytos: 1.119 (7,79%)
  • Tamasou and Oreni Isaias: 586 (4,08%)
  • Paphos Georgios: 212 (1,48%)
  • Chrysostomos of Kyrenia: 95 (0,66%)
