The compliance of the premises, in which the Police carried out checks yesterday, was almost universal, as it was found in all the provinces except 6 premises in the province of Paphos.
In the last 24 hours, the Police proceeded with a total of 987 inspections of premises in all provinces for faithful compliance with the Ministerial Decrees, in order to limit the spread of the coronavirus - COVID19.
As a representative of the Press Office of the Police stated in KYPE, during the inspections, members of the Force made a total of 6 complaints of premises and 33 complaints of citizens, for violations of the Legislation and the relevant decrees.
More specifically, in the province of Nicosia, 69 inspections were carried out without any complaints of premises, while 7 citizens were reported. In the province of Limassol, 205 inspections were carried out without complaints of premises, while for citizens the complaints amounted to 14. In the province of Larnaca 213 inspections, from which no complaint of premises emerged, while 2 complaints of citizens emerged. In the province of Paphos, 147 inspections were carried out and 6 complaints were made to property and 5 citizens. In Famagusta, 215 inspections were carried out, which did not result in a complaint of a property but of four citizens. Finally, in the area of Morfos, 138 inspections were carried out and a citizen complaint was filed, while no property complaint was filed.
