Official first today for the extraordinary plan to strengthen domestic tourism announced by the Ministry of Tourism, posting the list of 96 hotels with the prices they offer per night.
The Plan is addressed to permanent residents of Cyprus and aims, primarily, to encourage holidays in Cyprus. The participating hotel units cover all the provinces of the island but also the mountains. The lowest offered price we find is € 29 per double with breakfast in a hotel unit in Pedoulas.
The Plan will last from September 1st to November 30th, 2020. It includes Tourist Accommodations (Hotels, Organized Apartments, Tourist Villages, Agritourism Accommodations), which offer for the month of September the maximum price of 80 euros with breakfast for a double room per night, for the month of October the maximum price of 70 euros with breakfast for double room per night and for the month of November the maximum price of 60 euros with breakfast for double room per night.
In addition, the Plan provides for the coverage of 25% of the cost of accommodation by the State Department, including charges for children who will live in the same room with their parents.
The two nights are set as the minimum stay for the use of the above prices.
