The General Meeting / Open Discussion organized by the Famagusta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) for its members, with the guest of His Excellency the High Commissioner of India to Cyprus, Mr. Manish, was successfully held on Monday, February 9, 2026 at the Atlantica Miramare Beach Hotel in Limassol.
The event was titled “Building Bridges: A Brief Overview of India and India-Cyprus Relations”. His Excellency Mr. Manish presented the picture of the modern Indian economy and the recent developments in the bilateral relations between India and Cyprus, highlighting the significant business and investment opportunities emerging between the two countries, while the First Secretary (Economic Affairs) of the High Commission of India in Cyprus, Mr. Subhash Jangla, presented opportunities by sector, which highlighted the great prospect of cooperation for Cypriot businesses through India-Cyprus relations. Afterwards, representatives of the business community - members of the Chamber submitted questions, thus providing an opportunity for an exchange of views. The event concluded with a networking lunch, offering the opportunity for discussion and strengthening professional contacts among the attendees.
The Chamber expresses its warmest thanks to His Excellency the High Commissioner of India to Cyprus, Mr. Manish, for his substantive presentation and the willingness he showed for cooperation, as well as to all the participants of the event for their presence and interest. His Excellency Mr. Manish presented the current state of the Indian economy and the recent developments in bilateral relations between India and Cyprus, highlighting the significant business and investment opportunities emerging between the two countries, while the First Secretary (Economic Affairs) of the High Commission of India in Cyprus Mr. Subhash Jangala, shared sectoral opportunities underscoring the great prospect for cooperation available to Cypriot businesses through India – Cyprus relations. Representatives of the business community – members of the Chamber then posed questions, thus providing the opportunity for an exchange of views.
