The car of a 62-year-old man was engulfed in flames at dawn in Xylotymbou.
According to the Police, the fire broke out around 3:15 a.m. in a car owned by a 62-year-old man, which was parked in the yard of his house in Xylotymbou.
Initially, an attempt was made to extinguish the fire with a water hose, but to no avail.
The Dekelia Fire Service was called to the scene and its members extinguished the fire.
The 62-year-old's car was extensively damaged.
At first light, investigations into the causes of the fire will begin.
