The Frenaros Municipal District of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia is pleased to announce the organization of the 17th Pancyprian Watermelon Cultural Festival, which will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Frenaros Municipal Stadium.
An institution that has been established as one of the most important summer cultural events in Cyprus returns for the 17th year, honoring watermelon, the product that has been inextricably linked to the history, tradition and rural identity of Frenaros.
This year's festival promises a unique evening full of music, entertainment and culture, starring two beloved artists of the Greek music scene, Christos Menidiatis and Eleftheria Eleftheriou, who will give the audience a special concert with favorite hits and an upbeat mood.
The program of events will begin at 18:00, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy a celebration dedicated to the local tradition, gastronomy and hospitality of the region.
Admission for the public will be free.
The festival is organized by the Frenaros Municipal District of the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, is under the auspices of the Deputy Ministry of Migration and International Protection and is held with the support of sponsors and communication partners.
