On Saturday, November 30, 2024, the Founding General Assembly of the Youth of the Municipal Apartment of Frenarous took place. The assembly was welcomed by the Mayor of Paralimni - Deryneia, Mr. Giorgos Nikolettos as well as the Deputy Mayor Frenarous Mr. Kostas Michael.
In his greeting, Mr. Nicolettos pointed out once again the efforts made by the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia in terms of the participation of young people both in the community and in the development and environmental policy of the Municipality and more specifically of the Municipal Apartment of Frenaros. He emphasized, at the same time, that the Municipality will support all initiatives of young people in all municipal departments that encourage the involvement of young people with the public and shape a better and hopeful tomorrow full of perspective for a Municipality that will prosper thanks to young creativity.
During the General Assembly the members of the Youth unanimously approved the statutes and formed a body of the 70-member Council of Representatives where in turn elected the President of the Executive Council and the 10-member Executive Council.
Dimitris Panagiotou is elected President, while at its 1st Session the Executive Council was constituted as follows:
