The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia proceeded with the upgrade and maintenance of another important public space, contributing to improving the quality of life of residents and visitors.
As part of the upgrade project of the Panagia Asprovouniotissa park in Frenaros, new toys, safety flooring, and wooden benches were installed, while the existing toys were repaired, enhancing the functionality of the playground.
The sanitary areas, kitchen and WCs were substantially upgraded. Bases for waste bins were placed in selected areas, aiming to improve the cleanliness of the area. The perimeter wooden fence was maintained and painted, improving the aesthetics of the area. Finally, a specially designed barbecue area was created.
The Project is part of the 2nd Call for Proposals for the Grant Scheme for the Revitalization of Rural, Mountainous, Peripheral and Remote Areas through the Creation of Authentic Experiences, of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism. This specific grant scheme is part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Republic of Cyprus and is funded by the European Union.
