The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia continues to invest in the upgrade of its sports infrastructure, strengthening the Archery Department of the Frenaros FC2000 Sports Club with modern equipment.
The Deputy Mayor of the Municipal District of Frenaros, Mr. Costas Michael, together with the Municipal Councilor, Ms. Kika Tsaparella, delivered to the association two Olympic-standard stopwatches and a protective archery net, with a total value of €5.500 plus VAT.
The procurement was implemented with 70% funding from the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and 30% from the Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia, within the framework of the Grants Scheme for the Improvement of Accessibility Infrastructure, the Enhancement of Environmental Awareness and the Creation or Upgrade of Infrastructure of Special Interest.
The upgrade enhances the capabilities of the sports center, offering better conditions for training and development of the sport of archery in the area.
The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia remains committed to utilizing all available funding for the creation of modern sports infrastructure for the benefit of athletes, clubs and the local community, while expressing its warm thanks to the Deputy Ministry of Tourism for its long-standing cooperation and support.
