The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia proceeded with the installation of solar lights on public fountains, as well as the lighting of a municipal park in the Municipal District of Frenaros, as part of its actions to upgrade public spaces and promote green development.
The project was implemented with funding from the Famagusta Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company (Famagusta Region Tourism Development and Promotion Company), contributing to the strengthening of the infrastructure and quality of the area's public spaces.
The use of solar energy contributes substantially to the reduction of electricity consumption, the improvement of energy efficiency and the protection of the environment, while enhancing the sustainable development of the local community.
At the same time, the new lighting improves the safety and accessibility of the spaces during the evening hours, offering better conditions of use and service for residents and visitors.
The Municipality of Paralimni - Deryneia continues to invest in projects that upgrade the quality of life of residents, adopting modern, innovative and environmentally friendly solutions to create a more sustainable, safe and functional urban environment.
