Kokkinochorion High School in collaboration with the Association of Parents and Guardians of the School organizes, on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 blood donation in memory of Theodoros Petroudis and Theodoros Markos, in the multipurpose room of the school, from 12:00 to 14:00 and for teachers 17: 00-19: 00 for the public.
The public will enter the multipurpose hall from the parking lot located at the back of the school.
According to the Ministry of Health, all vaccines have a short period of temporary exclusion from blood donation. This period in all cases of vaccination is determined by the type of vaccine. Therefore, for those who have been vaccinated against it Covid-19 the following applies:
- Vaccination with Pfizer / BionTech or Moderna: Temporary exclusion for 7 days after each dose
- Vaccination with AstraZeneca or Johnsson & Jonsson: Temporary blockade for 28 days after each dose
The volunteer blood donor should be aware that:
- Prior to blood sampling, each prospective blood donor is examined by qualified medical blood donors.
- Any healthy man or woman aged 17-63 can donate blood without fear
- Blood donation is completely painless and lasts 15-20 minutes
- No medicine replaces the blood the patient needs.
Requirement to present SafePass and mandatory use of a mask by everyone.
