For the rescue of an animal in a rural area between the Municipality of Deryneia and the Community of Frenaros, the Fire Brigade was called on Monday night.
According to an announcement, information was given that a sheep fell into a pit about 20 meters deep. Members of the Police and the Fire Service from the Famagusta Fire Station rushed to the spot with a team and a rescue vehicle. The sheep was retrieved using rescue equipment and delivered alive to its owner.
