On Sunday, February 23, come and spend a morning dedicated to birds and other wildlife at BirdLife Cyprus' outdoor learning space "Thkyo Mosfilies".
Program
9:00 – 9:30: Meeting at the Apoplous Culture Workshop building and transfer by bus to “Thkyo Mosfilies” in Frenaros.
9:30 – 10:00: Start with a picnic at the site. We will provide water and snacks. Bring your own blanket or pillows and any other snacks you would like to enjoy.
10:00 – 11:30:
* What's hiding in the water? Come explore the life that a small lake hosts and learn more about the dragonflies that exist in Cyprus. Duration: approximately 30 minutes.
*The microcosm of the land. Under stones and fallen leaves, on the ground and in the trees, small creatures live and grow, important and amazing. Let's discover them! Duration: approximately 30 minutes.
*Creative crafts with materials from nature. Activities are suitable for children aged 5-11. Duration: approximately 30 minutes.
11:30 – 13:30:
We bid farewell to the Birdlife Cyprus officials and move to the Frenaros Community Stadium for tree planting.
13:30: Return to the Building
